§ 53.17 FLUORIDE TREATMENT INTO WATERWORKS.
   (A)   (1)   The City Waterworks shall be authorized, directed, and empowered to obtain and use fluoride in the process of treating of said public water system for consumption and use by the consumers receiving water from said source through the facilities of said system in accordance with the specifications, plans, and recommendations of the Commonwealth Board of Health.
      (2)   This division (A) shall be and become in full force and effect upon its passage, approval, and publication as the law directs.
   (B)   Upon receiving the consent and approval of the Commonwealth Board of Health, is hereby authorized and directed to provide the means and to proceed with the introduction of approximately 0.6 to 1.0 parts of fluoride to every million parts of water being distributed in the water supply system of the city.
