A Utilities Superintendent shall be appointed by the Board of Public Works subject to approval of the Governing Body in the event that there is more than one municipal utility, and the Governing Body determines that it is in the best interest of the municipality to appoint one official to have the immediate control over all the municipal utilities. The Utilities Superintendent may be removed for good cause by a two-thirds vote of the Governing Body and any vacancy occurring in the office by death, resignation, or removal may be filled in the manner hereinbefore provided for the appointment of all municipal officials.
