No registered gas fitter shall allow his or her name to be used by another person, directly or indirectly, to obtain a permit for the installation of any work, and if any registered gas fitter violates this provision, the Examining Board shall forthwith revoke the certificate of registration issued to the gas fitter, and in addition to the revocation of the certificate of registration, the gas fitter shall be deemed to be guilty of a misdemeanor.
