§ 90.51 DANGEROUS OR POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS DOGS; AT LARGE; DESTRUCTION.
   Any dog declared to be a dangerous dog or potentially dangerous dog as defined in § 90.41 and is found at large and unattended upon public property, park property, or a public right-of-way, or upon the property of someone other than its owner, thereby creating a hazard to person or property, may, in the discretion of the chief of police or his authorized designee, or any city law enforcement officer or Animal Control Officer, be destroyed if it cannot be confined or captured. The city shall be under no duty to confine or capture a dangerous dog or potentially dangerous dog found at large nor shall it have a duty to notify the owner of such dog prior to its destruction.
