§ 74.01 BICYCLE; LICENSE.
   Anyone wishing to operate a bicycle within the corporate limits shall obtain a license from the municipal police. The license shall expire on December 31 of each year and all registrants shall be granted a 30-day grace period from that date in which to renew the license. The license shall be issued by the municipal police upon the payment of a $.25 fee to the Chief of Police. The license, containing the words “SCHUYLER BICYCLE REGISTRATION” and a specific number, shall then be attached to the frame of the bicycle in a substantial manner. A record shall be kept by the Police Department of every such registration. Licenses shall not be transferable from one person to another, nor from one bicycle to another. The removal of the tag, except by the proper authorities, shall be unlawful.
