§ 70.12 SPEED; MAXIMUM.
   (A)   No person shall operate a motor vehicle on any street, alley, or other place within the corporate limits under the jurisdiction of the municipality at a rate of speed greater than 25 mph in any residential district, and 20 mph in any business district, unless a different maximum rate of speed is specifically permitted by ordinance. In the case that the Council designates a speed not specified in this title, signs shall be posted throughout the regulated zone.
   (B)   The speed zone commencing immediately with the city corporate limits on East Ninth Street and West Ninth Street and East Twenty-Second Street of the City of Schuyler, Colfax County, Nebraska, shall be designated at 35 mph, irrespective of whether or not it is a residential district. The speed limit shall continue inward within the City of Schuyler until the very next speed zone sign designating a different speed limit.
