§ 52.28 REPLACEMENT BY PLUMBER.
   All supply or service pipe, when leaking or out of order shall be replaced or repaired by the plumber constructing the work during the 12-months’ maintenance period provided in his or her bond or policy of insurance and, after the period shall have expired, all replacements and repairs to supply or service pipes or any attachment thereto shall be made by the consumer. Should any consumer fail, neglect, or refuse to take steps to replace his or her service pipe or supply pipe, after being notified in writing by the Board of Public Works to do so forthwith, the service pipe may be cut off at the curb cock until the service pipe is satisfactorily repaired or until new service pipe is installed.
