It shall be unlawful for any person engaging in, conducting, participating in, allowing upon his or her real property or otherwise offering to sell used household merchandise and materials while engaged in garage/yard sale activities within a residential district to allow the posting of any signs or similar devices in a manner that is not in compliance with the provisions of this subchapter, the Village's zoning ordinance or any other ordinances or codes of the Village. No person shall operate a garage/yard sale activity within a residential district unless that person is a resident on the premises where the garage/yard sale activity occurs.
