Because each business, occupation and/or profession, as hereinafter defined, conducted within the Village of Schiller Park affects the well-being of the Village and its citizenry and thereby necessitates special services from the Village in the form of various inspections and added police protection and control, such businesses, occupations, and professions shall in all respects be in full compliance with the provisions hereafter contained in this Chapter. This Chapter is designed to provide for the means whereby the Village may render the necessary services of inspections and control to such businesses, occupations, and professions in order to promote, protect, and safeguard the public safety, health and welfare of the citizens of the Village and to effect an accurate record of such businesses, occupations, and professions and their operations within the Village of Schiller Park.
