There is created hereby a division of the Department of Community Development of the Village, namely: the Building Division. It shall consist of the Building Official, who shall serve as the administrator of the Building Division and shall be composed of such other officials, assistants and employees, including inspectors and clerks, to carry out the functions of the Department as may be authorized and assigned to it by the Village President.
All of such assistants and employees, including inspectors other than those attached to the Bureau of Fire Prevention, shall be under the oversight and supervision of the Director of Community Development.
