(A) There is hereby created the position of Advisor to the Mayor on Airport Noise to be filled upon the appointment of the Mayor for an indefinite period of time. The duties and responsibilities involved with this position shall include attendance at all Suburban O'Hare Commission meetings and meetings of other organizations whose purpose includes reductions of airport noise and/or bettering of the environment, and undertaking such other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time by the Mayor.
(B) The Advisor to the Mayor on Airport Noise shall receive compensation in the amount of $2,500 per year.
