§ 98.21 ELECTRICAL OUTLETS AND LIGHTS.
   Every habitable room shall contain electric convenience outlets as required by the building provisions of this code. Every such outlet and fixture shall be properly installed, shall be maintained in a good and safe working condition, and shall be connected to the source of electric power in a safe manner. GFCI receptacles shall be required for outlets located within 6 feet of a water source, including kitchen, baths or laundry. In addition, GFCI receptacles with inuse bubble covers shall be required for outlets located on the exterior of a building.
