§ 96.070 RESTORATION OF SURFACE; CANCELLATION OF BOND AND RETURN OF DEPOSIT.
   Upon the completion of the excavation and auguring, the parties will notify the Superintendent of Streets and Alleys, who shall make an inspection within a reasonable time, and the Superintendent then will have the street or alley restored to its original condition. He or she shall keep an accurate record of the cost of materials used and the time expended in so restoring the street or alley. If the work has been properly performed and all of the requirements of this subchapter have been complied with, the Superintendent shall notify the Village President in writing and upon that notice to the Village President, the bond required by § 96.064 shall be canceled and the parties released from further liability thereon and the deposit, less the cost of restoration of the street or alley, shall be returned to the depositor.
