§ 91.37 BITING.
   (A)   When any dog bites a person, its owner shall immediately notify the Health Authority, who shall order the dog to be held on the owner's premises or shall have it impounded for a period of ten days.
   (B)   The dog shall be examined immediately after it has bitten anyone and again at the end of the ten-day period.
   (C)   If, at the end of this ten-day period, a veterinarian is convinced the dog is free from rabies, he or she shall order the dog released from quarantine or the pound, as the case may be.
