All charging stations, charging station equipment, connections, and components thereof shall be installed, comply, and be maintained in accordance with all building, property maintenance, and electric codes and applicable laws, including the National Electric Code, Electric Vehicle Charging System, and all conflicts in this chapter shall be resolved in favor of any applicable laws and the National Electric Code. Under no circumstances shall charging stations be deemed required to be provided or installed as a part of any new construction.
