§ 118.004 RECORDS.
   (A)   All owners of self-service storage facilities shall keep and maintain, or cause to be kept and maintained, records showing the types or categories of personal property stored in each individual storage space and the name of the renter or lessee of each individual storage space. Said owners shall also keep and maintain a manifest of all boats, recreational vehicles and antique vehicles stored at the self-service storage facility, which manifest shall include the make, model, year, owner, vehicle identification number (VIN) and license plate number of each boat, recreational vehicle or antique vehicle stored and the location of the individual storage space it is stored at. All records shall be kept and maintained on file and intact for one (1) year from the closing of any storage transaction.
   (B)   The foregoing records shall be made available by the owner to the Building Official during normal business hours for inspection and copying upon request of the Building Official. Such records shall be admissible in any administrative or judicial proceeding pursuant to the provisions of this Chapter as prima facie evidence of a violation of this Chapter.
