§ 71.25 RESIDENTIAL PARKING PERMITS — DISPLAY REQUIRED.
   (A)   Upon receipt of an application, the Village Manager/Comptroller or his designee shall cause residential parking permits to be issued for a maximum of two (2) vehicles per residence for use on vehicles registered to residents whose residence is located within a residential parking zone within which such residence lies. Each such Residential Parking Permit shall allow a vehicle so registered and displaying a current Village vehicle sticker to be parked in a parking space located within the specific residential parking zone indicated on the Residential Parking Permit. Each Residential Parking Permit so issued as part of the Village residential permit parking program shall be affixed to the interior of either the rear window or the windshield of the vehicle in accordance with the instructions printed thereon and without the use of supplemental adhesives, in a manner which enables the Residential Parking Permit to be clearly legible from the exterior of the vehicle.
      (1)   The form of the application and the form of the Residential Parking Permits shall be provided by the Village Manager/Comptroller or his designee.
      (2)   The Residential Parking Permit may be issued as part of the Village vehicle sticker.
   (B)   The Residential Parking Permits shall not guarantee or reserve any parking space, nor shall it exempt the resident from the observance of any traffic or parking regulations.
