§ 116.016 RIGHT OF ENTRY.
   (A)   The Regulatory Authority and/or Food Sanitarian, after presenting proper identification, shall be permitted to enter, at any time when the person in charge or an employee is present, any food establishment within the Village for the purpose of making inspections to determine compliance with this chapter.
   (B)   The Regulatory Authority and/or Food Sanitarian shall be permitted to examine the records of the establishment to obtain information pertaining to food and supplies purchased, received or used and persons employed.
   (C)   If any person denies the Regulatory Authority or the Food Sanitarian access to a food establishment for the purpose of making an inspection, such a denial shall be considered a violation of this chapter and grounds for suspension or revocation of the establishment's Food Purveyor License. In addition, the Regulatory Authority may institute appropriate legal action in the Circuit Court to obtain an order authorizing access to the establishment for the purpose of making an inspection.
