§ 32.36 GENERAL AUTHORITY INSPECT; ORDERS; APPEALS.
   (A)   The Department Chief or any inspector or inspectors of the Bureau of Fire Prevention, upon the complaint of any person or whenever any of them shall deem it necessary, shall inspect all buildings and premises within the corporate limits of the Village.
   (B)   When any of the inspectors shall find any building or other structure which, for want of repairs, lack of or insufficient required fire escapes, automatic or other fire alarm apparatus or fire extinguishing equipment or by reason of age or dilapidated conditions, or from any other cause, is especially liable to fire, and which is so situated as to endanger other property or the occupants thereof, and when any such inspector shall find in any building combustible or explosive matter or flammable conditions dangerous to the safety of the building or the occupants thereof, such inspector shall order the dangerous conditions to be abated and any such dangerous materials to be removed and the order shall be complied with forthwith by the owner or occupant of the premises or building.
   (C)   Any person to whom it is directed may appeal any order made by the Bureau of Fire Prevention to the Department Chief within twenty-four (24) hours of such order. Within five (5) days, the Department Chief shall review the order and file a decision thereon. Unless the Department Chief revokes or modifies it, the order shall remain in full force and be complied with within the time fixed in the order or any extension thereof granted by the Department Chief.
