§ 32.12 ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT; DUTIES; COMPENSATION.
   The Chief of the Fire Department is authorized to appoint an administrative assistant, at a minimum rank of Lieutenant, as the Chief of the Fire Department may deem necessary, from time to time, for the efficient operation of the Department and in the absence of the Chief, from time to time, shall have the same duties and responsibilities as the Chief of the Fire Department. This administrative assistant shall perform the duties as may be ordered by the Chief of the Fire Department and shall receive compensation in the amount as may be established by ordinance from time to time.
