(A) It shall be unlawful and a business offense for any person to be in control of, to drive, to park, or to operate, upon or across or for the owner to cause or knowingly permit to be parked, to be driven, or to be operated upon or across, any street or highway under the jurisdiction of this Village, any vehicle or combination of vehicles exceeding the size and weight limitations stated in ILCS Ch. 625, Act 5, §§ 15-102 (width), 15-103 (height), 15-111 (weight) or in this chapter.
(B) Any person, firm or corporation who or which violates, disobeys, neglects, fails to comply with or resists enforcement of subsection 70.59(A) shall be fined not less than two hundred and fifty dollars ($250.00) for each offense. A separate offense shall be deemed committed on each calendar day a violation occurs.
(C) Each owner and operator of any vehicle convicted of violating any provisions herein, shall be fined according to the following schedule:

In addition, any person, firm or corporation convicted of 4 or more violations within any 12 month period shall be fined an additional amount of $2,500 for the fourth and each subsequent conviction within the 12 month period. Provided, however, that with regard to a firm or corporation, a fourth or subsequent conviction shall mean a fourth or subsequent conviction attributable to any one employee-driver.
Whenever any vehicle or combination of vehicles is operated in violation of this section, the owner and/or driver of such vehicle shall be deemed liable for such violation and either or both the owner or driver of such vehicle(s) may be prosecuted for such violation.
Any person, firm or corporation found liable for any dimensional regulations set forth herein, including width, height and length regulations, shall be fined $500 for the first or second infraction, and for the third and subsequent determinations of liability by the same person, firm or corporation within a period of one year after the date of the first offense, a fine of $1,000 shall be imposed.
Each day that a violation is found to exist shall constitute a separate violation.
