Pursuant to ILCS Ch. 625, Act 5, § 20-204, the Illinois Vehicle Code, ILCS Ch. 625, Act 5, §§ 1-100 et seq. ("Illinois Vehicle Code"), including any subsequent amendments or revisions thereto, is hereby adopted in its entirety and incorporated herein by reference as if fully set forth herein, except as specifically modified or changed by any section of this chapter. Any violation of said provisions of the Illinois Vehicle Code shall hereinafter be considered a violation of this chapter, and each such violation shall subject the violator, upon conviction, to the same penalty as set forth in the Illinois Vehicle Code. Further, citations may be issued by authorized personnel of the village, using the Illinois Vehicle Code in lieu of or in addition to using sections of this Title.
