All backflow prevention devices, methods, installations and maintenance required by these rules and regulations shall be approved by the Village, based on the Research Foundation for Cross- Connection Control of the University of Southern California, American Water Works Association, American Society of Sanitary Engineering, or the American National Standards Institute or certified by the National Sanitation Foundation to be in compliance with applicable specification, manufacturer's maintenance manual shall be on site.
