§ 70.052 DIRECTION OF TRAFFIC AT SCENE OF FIRE.
   The Fire Department officer in command, or any firefighter designated by the officer in command, may exercise the powers and authority of a police officer in directing traffic at the scene of any fire or where the Fire Department has responded to an emergency call for so long as the department's equipment is on the scene in the absence of or in assisting the police.
