(A) The following named holidays are designated as days on which time off and compensation thereof will be allowed to all regular full-time employees of the Village except police officers, fire fighters, members of the emergency medical services unit and seasonal or temporary employees:
(1) New Year's Day;
(2) Martin Luther King's Birthday;
(3) President's Day;
(4) Memorial Day;
(5) Independence Day;
(6) Labor Day;
(7) Veterans Day;
(8) Thanksgiving Day;
(9) Friday after Thanksgiving;
(10) Christmas Day.
(B) When any of the holidays listed in division (A) falls on a Saturday, the preceding Friday will be observed as such holiday for the purposes of this section.
(C) When any of the above holidays listed in division (A) above falls on a Sunday, the following Monday will be observed as such holiday for the purposes of this section.
