§ 132.01 ADVERTISING UNLAWFUL BUSINESSES; DEFACING ADVERTISEMENTS; DISTRIBUTING SAMPLES.
   (A)   Unlawful business. It shall be unlawful to advertise any unlawful business or article in the Village.
   (B)   Injuring, defacing advertisements. It shall be unlawful to injure or deface any lawful advertisement or notice.
   (C)   Posting handbills and the like.
      (1)   It shall be unlawful to post any bills or advertisements on any public property without the authority of the Village President and Board of Trustees.
      (2)   It shall be unlawful to attach any sign, advertisement or notice to any post, utility pole, tree or shrub in any public way or public place in the Village.
      (3)   It shall be unlawful to construct or maintain any bench or other structure in any public way or public place in the Village.
      (4)   It shall be unlawful to post any bill or advertisement on any property without the written consent of the owner thereof.
   (D)   Distribution of samples. It shall be unlawful for any person to distribute, cast, throw or place or cause to be distributed, thrown, cast or placed in, upon or along any of the streets, alleys or other public places in the Village or upon the porches or yards of private residences therein or within any dwelling or building in the Village any samples of merchandise or medicinal preparations for the purpose or with the intent of making known in a general or promiscuous manner any business, occupation, proposition, medical treatment, medicine or any other article.
