Solicitors are required to wear an identification badge. The badge shall be provided by the Police Department and shall contain a photo of the Solicitor. Solicitor must post a $10 refundable bond for badge. This badge must be worn at all times by the Solicitor while soliciting. The badge and the certificate of registration required by this subchapter shall state the expiration date thereof. Upon completion of the solicitation, or upon the expiration date of the certificate of registration, registrant shall return forthwith to the police department the badge. Solicitors for charitable contributions on highways are not required to have an identification badge.
