Sec. 9-148 Tap-In Fees. 20
   Each and every person and property owner of any lot, parcel, building or other connection to the sanitary sewer system that shall connect to the sanitary sewer system of the Town of Schererville from the date this rate ordinance is adopted and published shall pay, in place of the tap-in fee previously established and as might hereafter be amended, capital buy in charge and tap in fee combined as follow:

   In the event a single user shall have the usage falling in more than one category, the total of the categories shall apply. The following is set forth as an example only.
   Example:
      Lodge with 200 members   =   1.0
      With 20 seat cocktail lounge   =   2.0
                  Total   3.0
   These charges are based upon determination of the average user equity in the existing system by dividing the value of the system carried on the books by the number of existing users. This determination shall be annually reviewed and amended.
   This provision and charge excludes only that class of customers which is the class of customers for which the Schererville utility provides only treatment, but not collection, of waste under terms of written contract.
