Sec. 2-5 Term of Office of Clerk-Treasurer. 2

   a.   The Town Clerk and the Town Fiscal Officer of the Town of Schererville, Indiana shall be the Town Clerk-Treasurer.

   b.   The Town Clerk-Treasurer is an elected position whose term of office is for four (4) years, beginning at noon on January 1 st after his or her election and continuing until a successor is elected and qualified.

   c.   The Town Clerk-Treasurer shall be elected by the voters of the whole Town.
