a. If an officer resigns from active service prior to reaching retirement date, any accrual of incentive time, earned holiday pay, and longevity pay shall be paid in a lump sum and be placed on the resigned officer's final paycheck following the resignation date.
b. A resigned officer's clothing allowance shall cease immediately upon resignation from active service.
c. If an officer resigns from active service, the officer may submit a written request to the Board of Safety to purchase the officer's service weapon. The Board of Safety's decision on such a proposed purchase shall be final.
