§ 71.05 ENFORCEMENT.
   The primary responsibility for enforcement of this subchapter shall rest with the County Sheriff. This, however, shall not preclude enforcement by other licensed peace officers.

SNOWMOBILES
§ 71.20 ADOPTION OF STATE STATUTES.
   All provisions of M.S. §§ 84.81 through 84.915, as it may be amended from time to time, together with all rules and regulations adopted pursuant thereto, are hereby incorporated herein and made a part of this subchapter by reference.

§ 71.21 SNOWMOBILES PROHIBITED ON SIDEWALKS.
   It shall be unlawful for any person to operate a snowmobile over and upon any public sidewalk in the city.

§ 71.22 SNOWMOBILES PROHIBITED IN CERTAIN PARKS AND PLAYGROUND AREAS.
   It shall be unlawful for any person to operate a snowmobile in, over, and upon any public park or playground in the city which has been posted with signs prohibiting motorized vehicles.

SKATEBOARDS AND ROLLER SKATES
§ 71.35 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   ROLLER SKATE. A shoe with wheels attached or a device with wheels which is designed to be attached to a shoe and shall include roller skates, roller blades, or roller skis.
   SKATEBOARD. A wheeled board or device designed to transport a rider in a standing position which device is not otherwise secured to a rider’s feet or shoes.

§ 71.36 USE ON PRIVATE PROPERTY.
   No person shall ride a skateboard or use roller skates on any private property within the city without the prior permission of the owner or occupant of the private property.

§ 71.37 USE ON PUBLIC PROPERTY.
   No person shall ride a skateboard or use roller skates on any of the following public property situated in the city: Fire Department property; Community Center property; maintenance building property; and tennis courts, except that skateboard riding and roller skating may be permitted on the Community Center ice skating facility at such times and with such restrictions as may from time to time be posted at such facility.
