4-2-2: ASSAULT; BATTERY; DISTURBING THE PEACE:

No person shall commit an assault, or assault and battery. No person shall provoke a breach of the peace, or shall use any violent, threatening, profane or indecent language to the disturbance of any person, or shall use any threatening, reproaching or abusive language to or concerning any other person tending to provoke a breach of the peace. (Ord. 22, 9-11-1885)
