Any person, firm, association or corporation who shall engage in any business, profession, trade or occupation, or exercise any privilege, for which a license is required by this title, without a valid license as thereby required, or who shall violate any provision of this title shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction, shall be punished as provided in section 1-4-1 of this code. In addition to this penalty, the license of a license holder may be suspended or revoked for violation of any applicable provision of this title. (1989 Code § 9-301)
