9-2-1: PLUMBING CODE ADOPTED:
   A.   Adoption: A certain document, three (3) copies of which are on file in the office of the city clerk of the city of Sayre, being marked and designated as the international plumbing code, 2006 edition (this code shall automatically upgrade every 3 years or as new codes published by the International Code Council become effective), including appendix chapters A through G, as published by the International Code Council, be and is hereby adopted as the plumbing code of the city of Sayre, in the state of Oklahoma regulating and governing the design, construction, quality of materials, erection, installation, alteration, repair, location, relocation, replacement, addition to, use or maintenance of plumbing systems as herein provided; providing for the issuance of permits and collection of fees therefor; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said plumbing code on file in the office of the city of Sayre are hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof, as if fully set out in this section, with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed in section 9-2-1-1 of this chapter.    B.   Term Defined: The words "plumbing inspector" shall be used the same as the words "administrative authority". (1989 Code § 5-201; amd. 2002 Code)
   C.   Licensing And Bonding: Any person, firm or corporation who engages in the plumbing business must meet the requirements for licensing and bonding as set forth in the plumbing code. (1989 Code § 5-201; amd. 2002 Code; Ord. 08-11-18F, 11-18-2008)
