Except where otherwise provided in this code to the contrary, the applicant for a license for a new occupation or activity shall be required to pay the full annual license fee specified in this code if application for a license is made on or between May 1 and October 31 of any year. If any application is made on or between November 1 and April 30 of any year, the applicant shall be required to pay only one-half (1/2) of the annual license fee specified in this code. (1977 Code)
