3-14-7: APPEALS TO THE CITY COUNCIL:
The applicant for a Public Events Permit may appeal an adverse decision by the Public Events Committee to the Savanna City Council by delivering to the City Comptroller a written notice of the appeal r:io fewer than seven days before-the next regular meeting-of. the Council. The applicant's notice must set forth its objections to the Committee's decision. The matter of the appeal shall then appear on the agenda of the City Council for consideration. The Council shall consider all matters in accordance with the City Code and shall approve the decision of the committee or direct the issuance of a permit on such terms and conditions it believes serve the public safety and convenience.
