If a roadway is divided into marked lanes, the operator of a bicycle shall:
(A) Ride in the right lane unless overtaking another vehicle or when about to make a left turn.
(B) Ride within a single lane, and change only when safe to do so.
(C) If there are three (3) lanes, the middle lane should be used only for passing or overtaking another vehicle or for making a left turn. (1977 Code)
