9-1-34: PARKING IN FRONT OF PUBLIC BUILDINGS:
When official signs are erected or placed giving notice thereof, no person shall stand or park any vehicle longer than necessary to load or unload passengers within a space designated by official signs along the adjacent curb immediately in front of the entrance to any public building, hospital, hotel, theater or church.
If the owner or driver of a vehicle discovers that the vehicle is parked immediately in front of or close to a building to which the fire department has been summoned, he shall immediately remove the vehicle from the area unless otherwise directed by police or fire officers. (1977 Code)
