9-1-25: WEIGHT LIMITS:
The maximum gross weight to be permitted on the road surface through any two (2) wheels on the same axle of any vehicle shall not exceed sixteen thousand (16,000) pounds nor shall it exceed eight hundred (800) pounds per one inch (1") in width of tire upon such wheels; provided further, that the gross weight, including the weight of the vehicle and maximum load of any motor vehicle, shall not exceed twenty four thousand (24,000) pounds; and the gross weight, including the weight of the vehicle and maximum load of any trailer or semitrailer vehicle pulled or towed by a motor vehicle, shall not exceed thirty two thousand (32,000) pounds.
Maximum weight of vehicles on certain streets:
   (A)   No vehicle exceeding twelve thousand (12,000) pounds' gross weight shall be driven upon the following streets or parts thereof:
