The police chief is hereby authorized to make and enforce temporary regulations to cover emergencies or special conditions. Such temporary regulations shall remain in effect only during the period of emergency or special condition.
The police chief is hereby authorized to make temporary rules as directed by the council to regulate traffic or test traffic control devices under actual conditions of traffic. No such experimental regulation of traffic shall remain in effect for more than ninety (90) days. (1977 Code)
