Whenever any person shall fail to remove all such snow and/or ice, such snow and/or ice shall be removed by the city. In any case where snow and/or ice removal is by the city, the officials in charge of such snow and/or ice removal shall keep an account of all costs and expenses attending such snow and/or ice removal and shall forthwith report same to the city comptroller who shall thereupon demand payment from the person creating such deposit of snow and/or ice.
If such expense is not paid within twenty (20) days after notice of such expense has been given to such person, the city will proceed to perfect and enforce its statutory lien on said premises for such expenses, as required by law. (Ord. 1291, 10-22-1985)
