8-2-9: GUARDS FOR TREES DURING CONSTRUCTION:
In the erection, alteration or repair of any building or structure, the owner shall place or cause to be placed such guards as shall effectually prevent injury to any tree or trees in the vicinity of the building or structure. (1977 Code)
