(A) It is unlawful for any person to transmit in any manner to the Savanna fire department a false alarm of fire, knowing at the time of such transmission that there is no reasonable ground for believing that such fire exists.
(B) The following is a schedule of charges for false fire alarm calls received within a one year time period:

7th false alarm | 100.00 |
8th false alarm | 500.00 |
The Savanna fire department, at the discretion of the fire chief, may not respond to subsequent calls after the eighth false alarm unless the alarm company certifies that the unit has been repaired. (Ord. 1571, 7-9-1996)
