5-2-2: MOVING WOODEN BUILDINGS:
It shall be unlawful for any person to build, repair or replace any wooden building or any part thereof from one place within the above described fire limits to any other place therein, or to move a wooden building, or any part thereof, from without said limits to any place therein, without permission therefor from the city council. Provided, that no such permission shall be required in the making of repairs, whether external or internal which do not increase the size of the building concerned or increase its condition as a fire hazard; provided further, that all roof replacements shall be made of fire resistant material. No such permission shall be granted by the council unless it is satisfied that the person desiring the same will comply with all city and state fire regulations in relation to buildings so as not to increase the calamities of fire.
