No person, firm or corporation shall exercise the business of keeping a restaurant without first having obtained a license therefor. Each license issued hereunder shall terminate on April 30 following the issuance thereof.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, the city council, at its discretion, may issue one restaurant license annually, without fee, to a not for profit corporation operating a restaurant in Savanna, Illinois. (Ord. 1882, 10-23-2007)
