§ 16.07.040 PREZONING OF UNINCORPORATED LANDS.
   (A)   The city may prezone unincorporated lands adjoining the city for the purpose of determining the zone that will apply to such property in the event of subsequent annexation to the city. The method of accomplishing such prezoning will be as provided in Chapters 16.208 and 16.210 (Development Code Amendments and Zone Changes) of this Title 16.
   (B)   Such zoning will become effective at the time the annexation becomes effective.
