6.08.040: INTERFERING WITH OFFICERS PROHIBITED:
It is unlawful for any person to knowingly and intentionally interfere with the director or any officer in the lawful discharge of his/her duties as prescribed in this title. For purposes of this title, the term "interfere" shall include, without limitation: failing to hand over to, or release to, an officer an identifiable animal which has been pursued but not captured by such officer; failing to make payment of agreed upon fees that have been deferred by the director; failing to meet the agreed upon conditions of a fee waiver, reduction or deferment; failing to comply with an abatement order lawfully issued by the director; or failing to meet the conditions imposed by a notice of violation and stipulation.
