5.08.030: RETAIL LICENSES AFFECTED BY THIS CHAPTER:
Retail licenses and permits subject to the provisions of this chapter shall be classified into the following types (as defined in section 5.08.010 of this chapter):
Class A
Class B
Class C
Class D
Class E
Class F
Single event permit
Special use permit
No other sales or other furnishing or supply of alcoholic beverages shall be permitted in the City except those that meet the definition of one (1) or more of the above classifications, and meet all the requirements and conditions of this chapter. No other license classifications shall be authorized or permitted under this chapter, regardless of whether such classifications are otherwise authorized or permitted under the Act or other applicable Utah law. A license for the sale of any alcoholic beverage shall be required as provided in the Act, the provisions of which are adopted insofar as applicable to this chapter. In addition to the license required by this chapter, any person engaged in the sale of alcoholic beverages or products must obtain a business license and otherwise comply with the provisions of this chapter. Any license issued hereunder that is not a special event permit with a finite duration shall expire on December 31 of the year for which it is issued and a renewal thereof must be obtained.
