5-1-3: TERMS OF OFFICE:
   A.   Chief Of Police: The position of chief of police is hereby declared to be an appointive office of the city, and his term of office shall be as long as he fulfills his duties as set by the city council.
   B.   Police Officers: Any police officer subordinate to the chief of police shall serve at the will and pleasure of the city council. (1988 Code § 1-2-5)
