A. Regulations And Restrictions:
1. City Lakes: No alcoholic beverages will be allowed at any city owned lakes.
2. Community Civic Center: Alcohol sales will be permitted inside the armory (community civic center) only after obtaining a permit ($10.00 permit fee) from the city secretary and providing the city with a copy of the license issued by the Texas alcoholic beverage commission, known as TABC.
3. Glass Containers Prohibited: On all city owned property, alcohol must be in nonglass containers only. It shall be unlawful for any person to possess and consume alcohol from any glass container on any city property within the corporate limits of the city. (Ord. 101209-2, 10-12-2009; amd. 2016 Code)
B. Reservation Requirements:
1. Application For Reservation: The application for a reservation for any city property where the sale, serving, delivery, and consumption of alcohol is planned shall be made in the form described by the city council. The reservation application for an event where the sponsor proposes the sale, serving, delivery and consumption of alcoholic beverages shall reflect TABC approval and shall be made not later than ten (10) days prior to the date requested.
2. Conditions Of Reservation: The conditions of said reservation shall include, but not be limited to:
a. Specific dates and times that the reservation is valid not to exceed three (3) consecutive days.
b. The sale, serving, and delivery of the alcoholic beverages shall be from a bulk delivery service, and biodegradable paper cups or aluminum cans shall be used.
c. Sale, service and delivery shutdown time shall be no later than one hour before the scheduled closing of the event.
d. Proof of no delinquent taxes in the county or the city shall be provided.
3. Approval Of Reservation: Following the review of the reservation application and TABC approval, the city secretary shall cause the approval of the reservation. (Ord. 101209-2, 10-12-2009)
